1-11-11

We received a call from Allison, our adoption coordinator, who informed us that we passed court on January 11th! So thrilled to know that Malakai is legally ours. Now all that stands in our way is the US embassy (and a lot of paperwork)! We will play the waiting game to hear when we can go and pick him up. We were told not to expect a date sooner than the end of March, however my heart has trouble not hoping for something a little sooner! I do have a lot of little details here at home to keep me busy, so truly a date before March would be pushing it for us, but I'd LOVE an early March date instead of one towards the end of the month. We will take what we are given and be happy, though. I can't stop staring at our little guy! When my technical support gets home from work, I'll have him post some pics of Malakai for those of you who have not seen him! I'll keep you all updated as I find out anything more!
